Interactive diary chat bot
Monolog is an interactive diary bot that prompts you with interesting questions, which it chooses based on the topics you write about.
"?" will get you a new random question and remove the last topic from your topic stack (this is handy when you accidentally introduce a nasty topic into the bot's topic vocabulary)
"!" will get you an ebook of your responses (.epub format) --- spamming "!" over and over again will break the bot and get you b&
NSFW disclaimer: Monolog leverages a database of over 300,000 questions collected from the internet. Automatic screening is not a perfect process, and questions may occasionally contain NSFW or offensive language due to the source from which they were collected. As a result, this bot is restricted to users age 18 and older.
Privacy note: When you enter "!" this bot will generate an ebook (.epub format) of your responses and send you a download link. Ebooks have hashed names, and are hosted in an Amazon Web Services S3 bucket that deletes its contents every 24 hours at midnight.

Role: programmer
I could do an IRC version. What do most people who don't use facebook use as an alternative?

I don't know about other folks, but I just ... don't use Facebook. If I want to publish something, I set up a website. Seems like something that could be hosted at http://nearlyfreespeech.net/ or something?

A big plus one to the idea of not requiring facebook to use this.
It looks cool otherwise.

Yeah, the facebook thing is kind of freaking me out. The reason being that I am paranoid about my privacy and whether the bot will accidentally allow things to be public. It is a cool concept and reminds me to get the writing prompt journals.
