My photos from Sidmouth Folk Festival 2024.
I spent all last week at the excellent Sidmouth Folk Festival in the English county of Devon. I didn't manage to attend all of the 624 events on offer there, but I did manage to see three gigs a day and photograph many of the performers involved. You can find 88 of my better pictures in this Bluesky thread.
Artists pictured include Allison de Groot & Tatiana Hargreaves, McGoldrick McCusker Doyle, Sidmouth Town Band, Germa Adan, Tom Goodale, Seb Stone, Nick Hart, West Gallery Music Association, Grimspound Border Morris, Holly Clarke, Jali Bakary Koneh, Karine Polwart, Kitewing, Sara Grey, Cahalen Morrison, Chris Foster, The Wilson Family, Roswell, The Shackleton Trio, Guinea Lane, The Great Sea Choir, Jez Lowe, Windjammer, The Rosie Hood Band, The P'hogues, Brian Peters, Corrine Harragin, The Jonestown Brothers, The Oyster Band, Culverake, Mikey Kenney, Will Allen, Tim Edey, Arbbrevyn, The National Youth Folk Ensemble, Sidmouth Festival Choir, Kerran Cotterell, Chris Wood & Andy Cutting, Angeline Morrison & the Sorrow Songs Band and O'Hooley & Tidow. I've bolded up the ones whose music I enjoyed most.
