The Video Awards: Best Videos From the Web
The Video Awards is a new community site focused around videos from Youtube, Google, iFilm, Grouper, GUBA, Jumpcut, vSocial and others.
There are two main areas of the site. The first, user submitted area, allows users to submit their own videos to the site and have others vote and comment on them. This section doesn't require you to login so you can post, vote and comment without the baggage. The videos are ranked in order of popularity for the day, week, year or ever and are embedded right into the page so you never have to leave.
At the end of every month we are highlighting the winner and providing an "Award." We've got our winner highlighted for August so come check it out!
The second, Popular Videos, pulls the most popular feeds (updated hourly) from Youtube, Google, iFilm and Grouper and displays them randomly on one page. The user never has to leave the page to view the top videos of the day as voted by the users of the particular sites.
Thanks for reading, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
