A Cabinet of Curiosities
For over three decades now, I've been assembling my own low-rent version of the Renaissance gentleman's Cabinet of Curiosities. Now I've posted a PlanetSlade photo-essay allowing you to explore its many wonders online. Key exhibits include: about 50 Day of the Dead figurines; a pickled shark foetus; a smoking baby; a biscuit baked to commemorate Kent's 16th century conjoined twins; a syphilis lunchbox; two pacifiers designed to mock your infant child and a duck dressed as Elvis Presley. Enjoy!

Was a little apprehensive about clicking, but am glad I did! Will be dipping back in and out, don't want to desensitize myself to the oddness. Keep collecting!

"Why someone thought the roadrunner figure needed a scooter defeats me."
