Rykobiography: The Serialized Story of a Man and His Cat
On Monday, November 28, 2016, at 9:45 PM, I lost my best friend and lifelong companion, Ryko, to complications from alimentary feline lymphoma. She was 18 and a half years old. In order to keep myself somewhat sane as I learn to process the loss of my girl, I’m writing her biography in serial form, from her manic kittenhood in Boston, MA, to her final peaceful days on the Westside of L.A.

I'm sorry for your loss. These creatures hold not only their own lives, but so much of ours as well. That space left when they're gone ... how can something so small be So Very Big?

Thanks for sharing the story of the life you and Ryko shared; I've enjoyed each installment very much and appreciate your honest assessment of how it all played out. Heartfelt condolences to you and all who loved and will miss Ryko.
