NES speedrun maps
There are people who use the help of emulators to play video games as fast as they possibly can. The proof of their efforts is a recording made by the emulator which contains timing information on all the buttons they pressed while playing through a game. These are some images I made by taking the direction pad key-presses from a few of these speedruns and using them like Etch-A-Sketch controls to trace out the "path" taken by the recording. The source code I used is available for those who are curious.
