Denied.
How a Texas Abortion law affected the life, and death of my son.

I wrote this piece not as a total account of our loss of our son, though that experience is a framework that surrounded one of many slices of our pain: to have medical choices denied us by our state. It's not about whether we would, wouldn't, should or shouldn't, but that we weren't enabled to decide. Possibly too political and/or personal for a FPP (or here?), but despite not being active lately, MF is a part of me, so I share.

I am so sorry. This would have been a terrible thing to go through without intrusive laws making it that much harder. I hope for peace and healing for you both.
