The Free City Sourcebook: Primary sources on the Free City of Danzig
This website brings together all available primary sources (eg, government documents, newspaper articles, photos, etc) relating to the Free City of Danzig (1920-1939).

I've been fascinated by this city for a while and wanted to share my fascination with the world. My hope is that the site will be used as a research tool by others to create further studies on the Free City. There's not a whole lot in English, unfortunately. As you'll see, I started with the low-hanging fruit and will soon proceed to my own digitization projects. First stop is the New York Public Library and eventually the League of Nations Archive in Geneva. I also have a constantly developing bibliography of secondary sources so that, if you see a particular topic that interests you, you can learn more.

Please let me know what you think! I welcome all suggestions and criticism. Also, if you know of any Free City-related troves of documents, please let me know!
