I got so tired of advert laden clickbait sites that I created my own. The difference? AltruistClick donates any money it makes to charity.

The site has been active a few weeks and has a small but loyal following on its Facebook page.

For more background, see the about page.

Feedback is very welcome!

I love this idea! But of course it only "works" if you don't have an adblocker installed, right? I visited one of the links and ended up just reading some article and not helping anyone (of course now I know about miraculous doggy tricks, so there's that.) That said, I am always tempted and resist the clickbait under normal circumstances--I hope this gains some traction and will check back in on it again with adblock paused.

Thanks gubenuj!

Not everyone blocks ads though.

Before it all got a bit out of hand, I ran and did reasonably well out of the ads on that. It will take some time before traffic levels on approach those levels, and I hope I'll be able to keep churning out content for it until it does!
