Pop Comedy Podcast
My friend and fellow comic Natalie and I have started a podcast about pop culture. Our guests pick a few of their obsessions, and each week we delve into why we obsess about, well, what we obsess about. Take a listen and tell us what you think!

Guests come from the Toronto comedy scene, as well as a few other local and international artists. One day we'll have to get a few Mefite pals on too.

We like to think of our podcast as an audio version of Pinterest. Take that how you will.

We've had a few audio issues so please be gentle. Additionally, if anyone can give me some advice on making Wordpress.com, feedburner and Our Media/Internet Archive play well together, or a better, low-cost solution, please give me a shout.

Just starting in now, a couple of notes so far:

1: The actual streaming link is hard to find. Would there be any way to get an embedded player? ( I see now that you are looking for help on that issue already)

2: The Unicorns intro is cool, but the initial drumbeat lasts like 20 seconds too long. I would just dive in with the guitar lick.

3: I think I would invest in some better equipment, or look up ways to get a bit more life out of whatever microphone you are setting up.

Don't mean to start things off negative, you guys sound like a lot of fun to listen to so far.

Think_Long, I definitely appreciate the feedback. We actually are in the process of getting a new producer so things are a bit rocky but hopefully will improve with time. We are having a theme song and a few more musical bumpers made but they are going to be short.

As for the embedded player nonsense, the problem lies in the fact that we're using Wordpress but unwilling to drop a hundred plus bucks for their audio storage option. As it stands, we are using the cheaper options available to us until we can find a better combo of services to suit our needs. If you have any suggestions we'd love it!

As for the equipment, we're using a Yeti omnidirectional mic and just switched from Audacity to Garage Band. We were also recording in a particularly echo-filled kitchen, we're going to try a few other setups until we find one that sounds a bit better.
