Somebody on Something Awful mentioned the price of bitcoins was crashing, and now the price is going down quite dramatically.

They're not s much crashing, as just volatile as hell. Anybody who bought them in May is still doing very nicely.

I listened to NPR on bitcoins and I was waiting for them to tell people they were joking.
They tried a currency like this a long time ago. I can't remember what it was called, but it was in the early days of e-commerce, back when people still said things like e-commerce. It failed.
