Fun With Internet Dating
Purely anonymous online dating blunders for the amusement of all. Sometimes the best pick-up lines have to be crafted meticulously in advance.

Role: creator
I feel like it should have a little blurb at the top explaining the entries are. i.e "These are e-mail responses we got to our online dating ads".

i like the title...James Wright reference neh?
But some of these entries seem like you've mistaken Pure Awesome for Blunders.
"first of ten verses
In 1984 I was hospitalized for approaching perfection. Slowly screwing my way across Europe, they had to make a correction. Broken and smokin’ where the infrared deer plunge in the digital snake. I tell you, they make it so you can’t shake hands when they make your hands shake.
"
That's a Silver Jews song.
So I’m reading your profile, reading the lines and between the lines, and what I see is a shameless hedonist who does a mexican bandito accent when she’s drunk.
Marry this person.

The purple check background makes the site very hard on the eyes.

maybe it could be blurred just a bit so that the pattern is a bit softer/look a bit more like real fabric?
fun idea!

Great site, I can't wait for it to take off so I will have more content to read! The title does need some work. What about something that involves online dating speak, like a/s/l?

i think we are going to stick with the title because it describes our own lives so well. in-jokey, sure, but eh. (was totally thinking of the a/s/l thing when we were still brainstorming, though!)
do you guys have any ideas on how to promote the site better? obviously i can't self-link on metafilter, but we're itching to make this take off!
we are already using projectwonderful.com

Great fun to read. I'm afraid I do have to agree, though, that the check background is pretty awful. Sorry!
