Well Hello, Sir!
Per Greg Nog's request, the male counterpart of Meet The Lady. Both are regularly updated by myself and Help, I can't stop talking! (Well Hello, Sir! is mainly HICST!'s domain.)
Since being posted to MeFi almost a year ago, Meet The Lady has spawned a monthly NYC variety show at 92YTribeca (the new downtown branch of the venerable 92nd Street Y). The live show expands upon the website, with multiple presenters gathering to explore a themes such as "Hagsploitation" cinema and makeover montage scenes, and tributes to undervalued ladies such as Yma Sumac, Nina Simone, Brett Somers, Pearl Bailey, and (tonight) Ann Miller. Guests to the show have included John Epperson (who is the drag legend Lypsinka), author Jewell Parker Rhodes, film actress Lorna Raver (Drag Me To Hell), singer/songwriter Nellie McKay, and many others.
MTL also has a found photo archive, which is used for our game show.
