Three Questions - an interview blog
A new, short-form interview blog. Our first conversations are with Chandler Burr, the perfume reviewer from the New York Times, and Gerald Lange, a well-known and very talented typographer, printer and educator; upcoming interviews will include authors, scientists, politicians, and all sorts of interesting non-famous people too. Got suggestions for interviewees and/or questions? I'm listening!

Awesome! I just picked up The Emperor of Scent yesterday and I'm loving it. Burr and I are on the same wavelength -- all that stuff he talked about sounded interesting to me.

Yeah, he's a really good writer and very entertaining to talk to - he gave me some good pointers on how to ask questions too which were helpful, since this is new to me.

I tried to get Michael Pollan but his assistant turned me down flat - however, Werner Herzog's assistant said maybe, and I've got a bunch of other neat people lined up. So - we'll see!

I think there are a couple authors here on Mefi, too, that would make good short interviewees

Oh god, I hope Herzog comes through.

Ace idea. Is it worth getting a dedicated .com url for the site, though, maybe? Especially as the content seems wholly separate to the site under the main domain? You could set up a redirect from the current url so your present promotional work to date isn't wasted. The site is young enough that the "rebrand" shouldn't be damaging.

@nthdegx yes, it is worth getting a dedicated URL, and I will do that soon. Good idea, thanks. Any suggestions on excellent/eyecatching URLs?

Oh my goodness, please, yes, Herzog.

Heard back from Herzog's people and they were not very positive but he MAY get to it long in the future at some point ... "when he's not quite so busy" which is like never. Oh well, I can hope!

I just bought qu3stions.com (thanks to fipi lele for the suggestion) and will set it up tonight.
