Every day, I draw on a 3x5 index card.
It started when I won a small old-school library card catalog at a university auction.

Initially I kept stray pencils and other miscellanea in it until I started jotting down quotes I'd read or overheard, short poems, idle doodles, and even shopping lists on index cards and stowing them away. Eventually the bulk of the paper began to encroach upon my ever-shortening pencils. Well, my card catalog has long since gone, as I've been living out of a suitcase for the past couple years, but my affinity for index cards has not.

I probably should have noted that I'm also on flickr... In fact, I sometimes update that more frequently, seeing as I'm still living in China and Wordpress is blocked here (note: it wasn't when I started).

I especially love the peripatetic legumes and the household implements in place of the lightbulb. Thanks for the giggle.

desjardins, consider it considered... and then implemented. I suppose I will update in both places from now on, possibly until one or the other clearly wins out in terms of ease and popularity.
