Gentleman's Gentleman
A new webcomic I'm working on, devoted to teaching the masses the ins and outs of the gentlemanly pursuits.

Thanks! And I think you're right about the credit, it'll probably disappear with the next update.
The making-the-text-text thing sounds good, but how is that done? Some sort of CSS positioning text over a jpeg of the art? That seems like that would ramp up the degree of difficulty pretty seriously. Or- quite likely- am I just missing some really obvious, easier way to do it?

Isn't a gentleman's gentleman a butler?

Technically that would be "Valet" a personal assistant as opposed to a Butler, head of the dining room and kitchen, but the words and meanings are fungible.

I'd never heard that usage before, but looking it up... fuuuuuuuuuck.

Eh, I wouldn't sweat it. It's a good strip, people will know what you mean.

I dig it, although I'm also a big fan of "Nowhere Band," so I hope that comes back soon!

Right on. Thanks, guys, and I guess I'll just milk the butler thing for a joke at some point.
And drjimmy: thanks about Nowhere Band, too, I'm thinking I'll pick it back up in late May or early June, and probably work on both strips over the summer.

Maybe that'll help? I haven't played in CSS in months, so I'm completely rusty.

For anyone interested, I've started a Kickstarter campaign to raise money for a Gent's Gent print collection. A $10 donation gets you a signed copy of the book!

I'd suggest dropping the "thanks to rebecca collins" thing that appears (no offense rebecca), and doing what is often advised, which is making the text actual text (and thus googleable). Also, far be it for me to suggest something so drastic, but you could rename it to The Veranda.
But anyway, I like it.
