Phoned-In is a poetry-reading-by-phone podcast series. Poets read their work over the phone, and the podcast is then posted along with a short Q&A.

Poets who have read/are scheduled to read: Frances Justine Post, Jack Christian, Dorothea Lasky, Ben Lerner, K. Silem Mohammad, Zachary Schomburg, CA Conrad

In addition to asking poets to read for the series, I also accept submissions (under 3 minutes). Just call 415-POETRY0 (415-poetry-zero). These submissions will someday be compiled into a special episode. Metafilter poets - call me!

Cool. A friend of mine said this would be a neat idea. Said get a handful of google voice accounts, and go. I told him I already had too many projects going. I'll send him this site. Crazy more than one person has thought of doing this.

Yeah. The unsolicited phone thing exists in different forms already. Namely, Weird Deer. This podcast is more of a curated affair, but I thought it would be nice to hear some poetry from random people.
