“We’ve been working on this project for some time — an innovative collaborative process to ‘launch’ ideas, or disruptive green technologies, that address some of this planet’s growing pains.” —Beth Beck, Space Operations Outreach Manager, NASA.

Founded by NASA, The Department of State, USAID, and Nike, the council aims to identify, showcase and support innovative approaches to humanity’s sustainability challenges. The inaugural forum starts today at Kennedy Space Center with LAUNCH: Water.

Watch live video (starts at 1 p.m. EST) and join the pseudo-backchannel on Twitter with #launchH20. There will be five presentations today, and five more tomorrow.

I built the website (with database help from my IT Director), my Creative Director designed it, and Nike provided the branding.
