Northwest Coast Archaeology
A couple of months ago I got more serious about keeping a blog on various aspects of the archaeology of Northwestern North America, especially coastal Alaska, British Columbia and Washington State. I hope that by putting out an interesting, relatively brief snippet of information each day, I can help increase public knowledge and appreciation of the archaeological record of this culturally-diverse and vibrant region. It is a true blog in that I post what interests me each day, with no bigger structure, but I hope what emerges for regular readers is a sense of the long-term histories which lie underneath such cities as Vancouver and Seattle, as well as the continuing cultural heritage of the Tribes and First Nations of the region as a whole.
