pedalr | A better marketplace for people who love bikes
pedalr.com is a many to many marketplace platform designed for the millions of cyclists, local retailers, and small and large manufacturers around the world who create, buy, sell, new and used bicycles, parts, accessories and gear.

pedalr is in fairly early beta but fully functioning - if you are interested in cycling, or the cycling community (@mathowie ?) it would be great to get your feedback, thoughts, or suggestions. The goal of the site is to help spread bike culture and love of things with two wheels and pedals. You can either sign up for the mail list, leave a message here or email me directly for an invite to the beta test.

One should always post a link to 'About us' page or tour page if you have one (IMHO). It comes off as a little rude to directly take users to 'sing up' without offering to see what it is about, first. :) Not a big deal, but just saying.
Have you considered posting the link to hackernews forums. It's a community of entrepreneurs who offer a lot of good advice, suggestions on improvements, etc.
I have posted there, you can identify yourself and ask for advice if you are interested.
I like the concept. I have requested for a private beta account. Further comments after getting in.
