XMas EP Series - Original Holiday Songs by Friends
Every year, I put together a compilation of original christmas songs by me and my friends, with a few covers mixed in. A group of both meat-space, and online friends, styles vary from grungy punk rock to 60s soul, with a low-fi indie leaning for the most of it. It's an easy gift for everyone involved, and a chance to share some of our creative output. Despite being named an "Xmas EP", not all the songs are christmas-themed, with a few Hanukkah, non-denominational, and general winter-y tunes throughout. Enjoy, and happy holidays.
This year's just went up, or you can hear a sort of retrospective if 4+ hours of amateur holiday tunes are a bit too much to wade through. This is my sixth year putting it together, so we've got quite a collection so far.
If anyone wants to contribute next year, comment, or send me a MeFi Mail and I'll add you to my harassment list for next season.
