Footballfilter version 3!
I have posted my project here before and got some great feedback and votes so I thought I would mentioned the latest version of footballfilter, our football based website which use rss feeds to centralise the best sources into one place - news, videos, pictures and podcasts.
Still following in the popurls vibe, the new version just has a lot more features and a lot more team pages and league pages. I am especially proud of the tool tip functionality if you mouse over an article. We also have a "Popular" clicked links page now and also a twitter page which basically allows you to search for key football words.
We are very open to improving the site and its content so we have set up an "Approved" section , so if you like something you can let us know. We also then provide the ability to export the rss feeds to use in your own reader.
And finally, there is an iPhone version: http://www.footballfilter.com/i. And a mobile and blackberry version:http://www.footballfilter.com/m
Next step is to start working on a footballfilter "channel"......stay tuned for more soon I hope. Your feedback would be most welcome!

Hey of course we will keep it going during the world cup - in fact we will have a page dedicated for it! Glad you like the site - but yeah you are right, I think you have to be certain person to use it - information overload and also yeah, you have to be heavily into your football. Either way thanks for the praise and spreading the word!

I've made a World Cup page now actually - still a little early but I have basically added all the good sites that have a WC2010 page http://www.footballfilter.com/world-cup-2010

I like the setup. I'm probably not going to follow it but I've already sent the link to my most football obsessed American friend. This is a true obsessive's site. Please keep it going until the World Cup as I get ridiculously obsessed about it and this would be like manna from heaven.
