kinetic sketch drawing tool
I've tried to make 'kinetic sketch' resemble a flash video game, in that it rewards dexterous fingers and/or good mouse control with cool things to see. But while I hope for it to be fun to play with in a gaming sense, I mostly intend for it to be used by people to create images that people like to look at. you can see a video of it in use on youtube, or try it out for yourself at kinetic sketch.

The color and image fills are determined by the palette that is selected. You can choose one of more than 15 pre-selected palettes, or search flickr for a new palette image to use. You can change gravity, the blend mode of your drawing, how your shapes are drawn, and eventually share what you make on the social network of your choice (mostly).

I didn't really work on this project out of any motivation beyond the fact that it was pretty fun to do. I've had a blast playing with it over the tool's development, and maybe you, internet user, might also enjoy it.

Oh, apparently I got an error where making things in the approximate center of the screen (or dragging them there) caused pieces to disappear into the abyss. Ehm.
