Words are Nice
For people who like quotes and colors and dead simple websites. Refresh the page to see a new quote and color. That's it.
I created this website because I like quotes and wanted a somewhat interesting way to display them. I like this approach because the focus is all on the quote and nothing else, which hopefully has some type of effect. Or maybe I'm just silly and the site is a complete waste of time. I haven't decided yet. I guess you could say this is somewhat of an experimental single serving site.

Pretty! It might be nice if it said where the quote was from -- just to give some attribution and a bit more context.

Well, they're attractive. You'll understand if I say I may never look at it again. But at least I briefly admired it.

Nice and simple. Google may be my friend, but it still feels wrong to republish others' words without attribution. It needn't interfere with the minimal design. You could have it only show up when you click on a quote or something.

I second the attribution requirements, not from an ethical argument, but from a reader experience argument. I found myself questioning who said something originally, and resorting to google is way more distracting than just giving credit.
And I may not be thinking this through fully, but couldn't you also play with font styles? Maybe I have a problem, because I don't like that one, and maybe it would be too distracting to see the font change size, color, style, and font each load.
Last question, why are you pulling the content in from another site in frames?
I just finished a single serving site myself. Not ready to post it to projects, since I think it might get heaping doses of ridicule in it's current state. Thanks for that "single serving site" link. I'm hoping the one I am looking for is on it. I am wanting the one where the author wrote a paper about single serving sites on a single serving site.
Neat site you have. It does what you expect.

For those who had issues with stuff not loading correctly, could you list your browser (type and version) and OS. Thanks in advance.

The font looks funny to me. I'm not a font geek, so I don't mean anything like that. I mean I see a sort of shadow or ghost quote (Same words slightly to the right, lighter like a shadow). I assume this is some sort of optical illusion, but it's a little disconcerting and makes it difficult to focus on the quote itself.

This is a nice idea! I like it. I'm quite a quote-lover myself. Feels good when such a short sentence can sum up a great deal about life. Keep going! :)

I like the idea, too. Not enough quotes yet, though! But it's a good start.
