Timely Demise: tracking the retail economy
Since September 2008 I've been diligently following the impact the financial crisis is having on America's retailers. I find it fascinating. Store closings, mergers, brands that disappear, companies that go bankrupt--in a society where 70% of revenue is consumer spending, retail shifts materially change the way we live our lives. It's a short-form blog, with daily posts promptly reporting the news. There's a Twitter feed as well @timelydemise.
