Mirrorshards: Very Short Stories
Every day, I will write a story precisely 100 words long. I will then post that story on this blog.

It has now been roughly three months and one hundred stories since I began this writing project, and I intend to keep it up more or less indefinitely. I welcome comments and advice, even (especially) if you didn't like a particular story. Here is a representative sample, and still probably one of my favorite things I have ever written.

Stories of precisely 100 words are frequently known as drabbles, for some reason I've never understood.

Apparently due to a Monty Python joke.

"Literary historians have traced the name back to the 1971 Monty Python's Big Red Book: 'Drabble. A word game for 2 to 4 players. The four players sit from left to right and the first person to write a novel wins.'"
