And he woke up screaming having dreamed of a color he had never seen before
A generative video art project I've been tinkering with for a few months: 3D landscapes created programmatically in realtime, a randomly shifting dreamworld with inspiration from math, botany, origami, electron microscopy, paint flow, physics simulations, Haeckel & Escher. There's a flickr set of stills & short clips, and some longer videos put to music here. (Warning: really, really colorful)

Something different and unexpected shows up every time I press play; the videos are just a few minutes of screen recordings on my laptop. Written in C# and XNA.

I have no idea what the technology is that goes into these, but they are really nice to look at.

I can't find anywhere to download the program. Is that because there is nowhere, or because I'm stupid?

Reminds me of the "Minds Eye" videos from the early 90s. Where you getting the music?

Haha, think I remember those. The music is just songs I like that I think fit well. As for the program itself, well I'm not releasing that yet because it's my baaby (and I may be making some cash via performances / parties soon :)

I like Tokyo Glitterati. This is a great program! I hope you're not infringing on anything that anyone'll get you for with that music, 'cause this is awesome.
