1) Sounds too much like attrition.
2) You need to get better art up on the front page, stat. Too much looks like stock bullshit.
3) You need to find a way to differentiate yourself from Flickr.
That last point ties in with a concern that I'd have—it's very hard to make sculpture and performance or installation work make sense in a purely photographic context.
But, all that said, a way to connect with other artists and organize shows? Great idea. Just, again, it's something that already happens informally on flickr.
