Young Bond: The Shadow War - point-and-click game crossed with a book
The 'Young Bond' series of books (yes, James Bond) are incredibly popular among boys in the UK, and for the release of the final book, we created a game that's best described as a point-and-click adventure crossed with a book. Kids reading more stuff, even if it's on a computer, is a good thing!

Charlie Higson, the author, has jokingly said that the game is "mainly to stop children reading books and head them back towards the computer where they belong," but a big goal of the game (other than selling lots of books, obviously) is trying to get kids to read more, through an online game that has a lot of text (around 2000-3000 words per mission). Unusually for these sorts of things, Charlie has been pretty involved in the design of the game, having written the entire plot.
