FlashPitt - A Flash Conference in Pittsburgh, PA!
After attending a few conferences and working with usergroups for a number of years a conversation erupted one night after a visit to Pittsburgh from the Adobe OnAir tour. The topic of conversation? "Why can't we put on our OWN conference to show off the things happening in Pittsburgh and learn a few things along the way?" A few more conversations a few more meetings and then a LLC was created and the planning begun! And now it's going to be reality! FlashPitt will be held in Pittsburgh PA on October 10, 2008. So, um, please come! :)
This is one heck of a project - my wife is heading it up and has been working her tail off contacting speakers, finding venues, selling tickets. It's been an interested journey so far, and by far the biggest project we're ever taken on. The day will end up with two tracks of sessions running from 9am until about 6pm - and then the big ole' afterparty - where we will all have one of the most refreshing drinks in a while!
