DropMessenger
A college course availability notifier. DropMessenger is a service for college students who are trying to register for a class that is already full. We monitor seat levels classes students want to add and notify them, through email or text message, as soon as a seat becomes available.

Seems like this would be hard to scale, given the diversity in registration systems across schools. And the fact that most probably require you to be a student.

yeah, it would be difficult to scale for sure. but, i hope i can just help out a few students at this point. :)
