Fractal Fripperies
Navigate through the infinite complexity of the Mandelbrot set and its cousins, and make T-shirts from the prettiness discovered. My friends have already come up with some pretty amazing designs. I've just freshly launched the site, so any feedback is appreciated.

This is definitely a neat site, but from the looks of the example t-shirts, I'm not sure if I would pay $38. Is there any way to incorporate the design into the entire shirt, rather than a simple square at the center? It would be pretty easy for someone to make the kinds of shirts you're offering themselves, with iron-on transfers, for a much cheaper price.

To be more specific: this, for instance, is a really neat image, that would look great on a t-shirt. From the looks of the site, however, the only option is to have an exact image of the square 'pasted' onto the center of a black or white t-shirt. Such a shirt would look immensely better on a shirt that matched one of the dominant colors. What if one could choose a fractal image, color it however they liked, place it onto a t-shirt of any color in any given spot, and pay according to the number of colors used, the amount of t-shirt surface area covered, etc? Just a thought...

It's a great idea. You need to have a "preview t-shirt" feature, though, even if it just superimposes my fractal image over an image of a t-shirt in about the right spot and with the right proportions. Being able to pick your own color schemes for the fractals (and for the shirt!) would also make this a much more interesting proposition...
