SciBarCamp
I'm co-organizing SciBarCamp, a gathering of scientists, artists and technologists in Toronto on March 14-16. We're almost full, but if you're in the area and interested, you can try to sign up and see if there's still space. No need to feel left out if you're far away: we'll also be live-blogging and recording sessions, so you'll be able to follow along from home. We're interested in the edge of science and technology, public engagement, open access, and interactions between science and art. The participants come from a wide range of backgrounds, so it will definitely be interesting. We also want to encourage people in other cities to host a similar event, so keep an eye on the website for future "how to SciBarCamp" info as well.
