A Story A Week
... grew out of the stories published in English-language magazines and newspapers in Tokyo over the past 10+ years by woodblock printmaker David Bull. It was originally set up as a 'subscriber-only' website for Japanese people to study English, but has now - by (very modest) 'popular demand' - been thrown open for anybody to access freely. A new story (each one about 600 words) goes live every weekend, and there is an audio podcast version available through iTunes. Everybody is welcome to dip into the backlist of stories, which range from personal anecdote, to dissertations from Boots the Cat, and you can leave comments on any of the stories if you wish. I hope you enjoy some of them!
