It's not particularly new, however, I completely missed the projects section of MeFi when I joined. I started this site in early 2006 as a way for my friends and me to show off the things we have sitting on our bookshelves. From what I can tell, MetaFilter is full of booklovers and cinephiles so, maybe you'd appreciate it.
