The BEWARE! t-shirt collection
I know what you're thinking – the world needs more sarcastic t-shirts like it needs a hole in the head. Nevertheless, here we are. Hope you like 'em! More designs are coming, and I do take requests.

ThinkUp
ThinkUp is a powerful, free, open source PHP/MySQL app that you install on your web server to collect and store all of your activity on social networks like Twitter, Facebook and Google+. It can analyze your activity, lets you search for your data (even past Twitter's search limits!) and is constantly being extended with new features and capabilities by a very active, diverse developer community.

Where Did All The Adderall Go?
I've been researching the mysterious American adderall shortage that has paralyzed the cognition and emptied the pocketbooks of millions of legal tweakers (my suffering self included) this year. Looks like the company that introduced the drug to begin with, Shire Plc, is taking advantage of the DEA quota system to boost sales of its new drug Vyvanse—which is basically Dexedrine bioengineered just enough to warrant a new patent—and screw over generic makers of Adderall. Anyway I've produced a fun history of amphetamine, shortages, grotesque corporate greed and the Holy Grail of Big Pharma business models that is the "addiction-proof" addictive drug.

Metalinks: A Greasemonkey script to collect links from Metafilter comments
This is a new Greasemonkey script that looks through the current Metafilter page for links. It puts copies of any that it finds (except for stuff like "posted by Somebody at 12:34") into a sidebar on the right of the page, under "Tags" (and whatever other stuff may be in that area). Also, if you hover your mouse over one of the links (in the sidebar), a popup tooltip will open showing more context (i.e. the text of the comment that the link was from, albeit a pretty poorly formatted version of that text (sorry)).

Play SPENT: Can you make it through the month?
My agency created this game for a local poverty services non-profit. Too many people assume that being poor is the result of a moral failing or laziness. Hopefully SPENT challenges those assumptions.

Amazon Deals!
After browsing through my Amazon.com Wish List daily for used book deals, I decided to write a program to do the work for me.

Habit Judo
Folks seemed to like my system for addictive habit building via Farmville-esque intermittent variable reward. I thought I'd put up a spreadsheet on Dropbox for everyone to download.

Without a Net: Librarians Bridging the Digital Divide
I wrote a book! It's at the printers. I made a website for it that contains the appendix, some supporting information/handouts/links and some other stuff. I used the INFLUX one-pager design (thanks ArcAm) and then I tampered with it. It's fine if you don't buy it. I'm just so happy it's finished.

Instant Breakfast
Every day, I write something silly about that date's history. It's called Instant Breakfast, and it's pretty stupid.

Gamefilter dot net
"So," I asks myself, "self: does the world need a Metafilter-like site dedicated to gaming?" The answer I got back was "Hell, yeah!" and Gamefilter is the result. It's the newest site in the burgeoning network of MefightClub websites, ripped off from inspired by Metafilter and fitting somewhere in between our more chatty private forum and the more long-form Full Glass Empty Clip group blog. You don't need to be a Mefight Club member to join in; registration is open to all.

The Games Bible--new games book
Hello fellow MeFites, THE GAMES BIBLE is out as of last fall. Metafilter contributed a bunch of ideas for my games parties and even a game or two (which I used with permission).

Farmers Market Recipes
In 2007 I released a turn-key online farmers market system. This is a major enhancement to that system, but also is a stand-alone resource. Customer, growers, and market managers at the markets using my system can now build a collection of recipes for their market. It offers the usual things you'd find in an online cookbook, but what sets this apart is the default view is seasonal, and reflects what is on sale at the market at that moment. Ingredients are tagged to available products, so shoppers can see recipes while they're shopping and recipe browsers can buy ingredients while they're reading. It helps close the distance between market and kitchen that intimidates timid market shoppers. All of the recipes for all of the markets are aggregated into a master searchable recipe listing (and that master list is what i've linked to), so if you're not a patron of one of the markets, you can still access the recipes, see where they came from, and subscribe via RSS to get seasonal recipes from around the country all year long.

World Read Aloud Day
I serve on the Associate Board for the global literacy organization, LitWorld. Tomorrow is a big event we've spearheaded, World Read Aloud Day. World Read Aloud Day is an international event that motivates children, teens, and adults worldwide to celebrate the power of words and stories, by encouraging them to participate in a global movement to advocate for every child's right to literacy, safe education, and access to books and technology. In honor of the event, LitWorld is inviting all participants to read with loved ones and new friends from now through March 9 and tally their minutes to reach the goal of 774 million minutes in honor of the 774 million people worldwide who cannot read. We've got events happening in all 50 states, over 55 countries, and online. We'd love more and it's not too late to sign up on the website to do something to share the gift of literacy with the world. It's a really big day for us and very exciting and I hope the MeFi community will join in.

RadioCollective.org: crowd-sourced non-commercial web radio.
After a couple months of working on the college radio map project, I had accumulated more favorite shows than I could keep track of (see?). My friends convinced me that with some effort we could build a calendar of awesome shows spanning 24/7. Well, after countless hours of listening to shows and asking DJs for recommendations, our calendar now boasts 447 outstanding commercial-free programs and counting! We haven't been able to stop exploring since we realized how rewarding it is and we hope you'll join us.

careerpowerups.com. For jobs that don't suck.
As a burnt out, cynical, bitter programmer from the games industry, this is the site I _wish_ had been around when I started out looking for work all those years ago. It's a combination of scraped and paid-for vacancies, covering a whole bunch of games companies and recruitment agencies from around the world.

The Marketplace of Ideas
A public radio program and podcast dedicated to in-depth conversation with thinkers and creators. It emphasizes equally the ideas and the people behind them, and those people have included 43Folders founder Merlin Mann, "mumblecore" director Andrew Bujalski, New Yorker fiction critic James Wood, Bookworm host Michael Silverblatt, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. I've aired over 100 interviews so far, most about an hour long, and I show no signs of stopping.
