How to Print a Document (with Zombies)
I have been doing some work for the College of DuPage Library, and one of the ideas they had was a series of videos about different parts of the library. This project started out as a simple "How to print" instructional video, until the librarian I was working with on the project said "I wish we could do something crazy, like zombies in the library or something." One thing led to another, and now my college's library has an animated short about zombies on its website. Enjoy!

The Thumping Guide to New York City
I'm making a map of all the publicly-accessible objects in NYC that make exceptionally cool sounds when you thump on them with your fists. Or at least some of them. I've just started the collection, and hope to receive a lot of user contributions to fill out the map.

Public Domain Photos
If you're looking for public domain photos, the US government is a good place to start. But finding images on a specific topic can be tough, so I've started a directory of photo galleries from various federal agencies. Enjoy!

listening to words
Find and discuss free audio and video lectures from around the web. You can filter audio/video/mp3 only, create playlists (which can be exported to iTunes and other players), and add tags and comments to lectures.

Truly Awful Stuff
Brett and I present the insanely tacky clocks, knick knacks and art we've tortured each other with over the last few years along with reader contributions.

Highlights include: the anatomically correct pegacorn clock, teenage Jesus and the toy molotov cocktail, for kids!

Spooky Moon
I love all things spooky, and am a Halloween enthusiast. Thus far, I haven't found a site that quite caters to my taste, and delivers consistently, year-round. I've been gathering material of this nature for years. Spooky Moon will be its repository. For those who appreciate a daily creep-out.
