Box breathing box
I wanted a device for box breathing, the technique where you breath in/hold/out/hold for 4 seconds. A device that wasn't a phone or computer. I built one, out of wood, plexiglas, metal, transistors, and a tiny bit of code. Then gave it the photo studio treatment, shared the code, and wrote about the experience.

Beautiful object. It has me envisioning a stress ball that you must be gentle with; hold it in your hand and it shrinks and inflates like a lung.

That's lovely Tom, thanks for the writeup. While reading about box breathing I found this simple web UI that lacks the poetry of the box, but is easy to try out yourself.

Lovely, reminds me of a similar arduino toy I made with origami to do box-breathing. Lovely execution.

Oh, I like this much more than the box breathing apps I've had on my iPhone and iPad. (And I've got Nelson's Quiet Kit version on my phone, saved app-style.) But this feels solid. Comforting. Good job!
