Where Is MH370?
After being annoyed with the sheer amount of misinformation being spread by news agencies and social media about Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, myself and a journalist based in Kuala Lumpur have been working together on a blog that debunks some of the common myths, factchecks news sources, and answers reader questions. We work on getting as close to the original source as possible and generally try to stay away from "unnamed officials" or "unnamed sources" as much as we can.

Activity's petered out a bit since we're both busy, but we're hoping to get transcripts of all the main press conferences out (since we've noticed that a lot of the media misinformation comes from bad interpretations of press conference information) and would really appreciate some help with video transcriptions. We could also use help with translations (into Malay and Mandarin) as well as answers for science-based reader questions.

Thanks to jessamyn for the prompt to post here!

The rumor is that the plane landed in Pakistan. Is there any confirmations on that?

That was an old rumor with no verified information. Rumors of that kind usually come in from people looking at Google Maps and not realising that the maps are not realtime.
