A free Kindle ebook for Thanksgiving
I wrote this funny, short mystery story in 2011 about talking turkeys on Thanksgiving Day who wanted to escape the farmer's axe. My new Thanksgiving tradition is to give it away for free for five days every November. It's written entirely in rhyme, so I'm hoping it'll be a fun read for both grown-ups and kids.
My friends surprised me one Thanksgiving by pulling it up on their large-screen TV, and then taking turns reading the whole thing out loud!
