Speed Notes - ubiquitous plain-text notetaking with a nonconformist interface
I use Notational Velocity on my laptop to keep plain text notes and store them in Dropbox. I am really attached to its single-text-field interface, and was frustrated that there wasn't a close analogue on the iOS App Store — so I wrote one.

It doesn't yet, I wanted to get the basic thing out and see how people reacted to it before adding features.

I've been considering doing a NV clone for the iPad for a while now, kudos to you for having the initiative to do something like this, seems like a great app.

I've been using this for a week now and I have to say I love it to death, it's awesome. I like being able to edit text files on my mac and knowing the info will get updated on my phone in this app the next time I load it up.
About the only thing I'm wondering is how to start a new file in dropbox on a mac, and have it show up in this app and a new note? I tried dropping a test.txt file in the notes directory on dropbox I made for this app, but I don't see a file called Test on my phone.
