+ Setting up an email trap inside the user's inbox with irresistible content. When somebody views the email, the user will get notified right away through his phone.
+ User can add MyEmailHacked monitoring application to their Gmail or Yahoo mail. The application will detect suspicious activities (unauthorized IP address, multiple users accessing the account the same time....)
+ Search user account through different known hacked databases. Make sure the user are not a member of a hacked site. Ask her to change the password if her email address has found in a hacked databases
+ Gather personal information using only the user's email account. Then let the user know how much her personal information has been exposed out there. The information can be used to reset her password. This is Sarah Palin and many celebs email has been hacked.
