The Strange & Wonderful World of Ants - children's iPad app
I just launched a beautiful and quirky children's iPad book app. It features an adjustable reading level making it appealing to a wide range of curious children and adults. It's scary but enthusiastic look at ants and their relevance to us.

I think that ants are really weird and great and I wanted to share my fascination with children and adults. The app covers all the prurient scientific details, but tries to do it a way that's upbeat about the bizarreness. I'm also interested in comparisons between ant and human societies and how they succeed and fail to illuminate. My hope is to help kids see nature and society in new unsettling but exciting ways.

You can buy it for $3.99 from the app store.

The app is loosely based on a performance lecture about ants that I used to give.

I'd love to hear your feedback.

Thanks for your interest!

P.S. I'm happy to send promo codes to people who want to review it or blog about it. Just ask.
