Markov nonsense generator for Twitter Inspired by MarkovFilter, Twittov is a python script that produces nonsense from your Twitter history. You can either run the script yourself, or send any message to @twittov and he'll respond with nonsense. Disclaimer: If you message @twittov, he might take up to ~10 minutes to respond. If you haven't posted many tweets, he may give up and respond with a joke (or half a joke, as it may be).

Oops, forgot to add: your tweets must be public for any of this to work. posted by theiconoclast31 at 10:03 AM on June 4
would be cool if it was a web interface. The bar is pretty high- most average people are not going to be able/willing to install Python.
Oh my. I all kinds of approve of this. posted by cortex at 9:03 AM on June 6
I'm not so certain how cool it is to include other people in on the joke. Maybe have is disregard @replies? The content it gave back just confused some people, and it may grab someone I haven't followed in a year. Otherwise, makes me sad to see how obviously predictable I am. posted by cjorgensen at 9:06 AM on June 7
