Movie Posters Perfected
I love movies—and especially movie posters. I have very fond memories as a kid in the 80s seeing new movie posters at my local theater teasing next summer's blockbusters. So I thought it’d be fun to turn an unused TV into a digital movie poster display to help recreate some of that nostalgia at home. I figured out the best way to mount a TV vertically and connect it to a cloud-based library to display my collection of movie posters. I love how it turned out, so I decided to write a guide to help people who might be interested in putting together their own. [more inside]
The Lifecycle Of A Singular Organism (and other short animations)
I've recently been trying to make a short piece of animation a day. Most are under a minute, but a few are a little longer. Playing at editing films to music
I thought it would be an interesting experiment to try and make films using only creative commons and public domain footage. I started by making a series of films to accompany the music of a friend and am now branching out to visually accompanying classical music.
I'm trying to work out if I'm wasting my time here and would supremely love some feedback on the films I've been making.

"China Girls / Leader Ladies"
A collection of frame enlargements I made of the mysterious photographs of (usually) women that sometimes appear in the unseen header footage of motion picture film. More will be added as I encounter them. [more inside]
