An editor friend of mine and I have been trying to keep occupied during the lockdown by collaborating on short (sometimes very short) fiction based around reader-submitted photos. These are the tales we have so far.
What began as an exploration of my love of weird western stuff has evolved into a discussion of creativity and the professional market for creative undertakings, with a lot of little side trips into the worlds of wrestling, polka, horseback riding, rattlesnake chili, and whatever else attracts our attention at the moment.
