My new game, Deco Deck, is now available for iOS, Android, Linux, Windows, and Mac. In Deco Deck, there's a grid of cards. Each card has one of five suits, and a number from 1-9. The goal is to link up the cards in connected groups of five, such that each group forms a valid "hand". The hands are: straight, flush, full house, five-of-a-kind, and rainbow. A rainbow is one card of each suit. Each puzzle has only one solution. There are new puzzles every day. [more inside]

I made a web-based puzzle game. Players must solve clues to reduce the possible permutations for a series of combination locks and get them open. There are a couple of deliberately-easy tutorial levels at the start, but once you've solved the first one you can jump to any lock you please. [more inside]

The title basically says it all. I made a simple browser puzzle game. You try to move the five blocks from one side of the screen to the other and place them in order. DIFFICULTY: You can't move the blocks individually. It works best on a computer using the arrow keys, but can also use swipe on mobile. If you are looking to kill a few minutes at work, give it a try.

Some friends and I made an IRL puzzle hunt. We ran it near the end of July, and now all the puzzles, hints, and solutions are up online, for your print-and-play enjoyment. This is in the same vein as DASH or Puzzled Pint. [more inside]

A few weeks ago my 8 year old daughter was set an assignment to bring an ancient Greek myth to life, and she decided to do the project in the game Minecaft. It ended up being something we worked on together most nights for a couple of weeks and we had a heap of fun. Now she needs something tangible to turn in, and some comments from other players would be ideal. I helped make the games and treasure hunt for a BBC Two series called The Code, a fantastic three-part series about maths in the world around us presented by Prof. Marcus du Sautoy. I just finished my first iPhone/iPad game, Snack Words. You play head-to-head against other people, racing against the clock to find as many words as you can. I loved other games of this type (Jumbline, Word Warp, etc), but I really wanted to play with other people. Hope you enjoy!
