Flavor maps
When I am cooking I like to be creative and just base stuff on what goes together. I have a big list of ingredients and what goes with what (derived from The Flavor Bible among other things). I built some software that lets me visualize the connections across ingredients as maps. It works for me so I decided to put it on the web in case it works for you.

[Such a cool idea, thank you for sharing it with us! We've added it to the sidebar and Best Of blog to help others find new flavor routes! ]

I had a lot of fun doing meal planning with this, but found out that swiss chard is ALL ALONE in the flavor map so sad. I was very pleased to discover a very large map for hyssop, which i have a lot of in my garden, but didn’t really know what to do with.

This idea is GENIUS! Make my style of cooking [I call it kitchen chemistry ;)] so much easier.

This is very cool, I like how the map layout shows you what pairs with your pairings, and so on. But I think I need a legend, I'm a bit lost as to what the borders and gray lines represent.
