Crafting: Ceramics and Metal Wire Trees
Posting some of the metal crafts I’ve made during the pandemic – particularly my “quarantine trees.” Also posting examples of ceramics pieces I've made since I started taking pottery classes in 2019. Ongoing.

Lovely crafts! Do the nail polish leaves have anything underneath the polish?

Oh wow, the hedgehog is so cute! And I particularly like the metal flowers. Never would have thought it was nail polish on the sparkly leaves of the trees, very nice.

Thank you, all! ellieBOA, it's just nail polish, nothing underneath. You have to use the surface tension of the polish to spread it thin between the wires, then build up a few layers on top. I made a dragonfly for my mom, but I will never do it again - the size of the wings was just at the very edge of what was possible to do, and it was crazy fiddly.
