A Chrome extension for managing your tabs
Quickly find, open, save, and share all your important web pages.
I have always been a bit of a hacker. I used to hand type programs from Compute! Magazine onto my Commodore 64. I ran a BBS out of my bedroom in the early days of the internet. I've built a arcade machine, smart pinewood derby track, and voice controlled magic mirror. I went a little viral with a rap video my wife dared me to make.
Along the way, I have always built tools to make things easier. TickTabs started as one of those tools. I had been using Tree Style Tab, OneTab, Session Buddy, and The Great Suspender and decided to combine all of their best features into a complete tool. Ticktabs allowed me to better manage all of the tabs I was accumulating during rapid fire reading, research and searches on Stackoverflow.
I decided to make TickTabs a product as a challenge to myself during the Covid crisis. I am always looking to learn new things. Launching a product requires so many skills and with a little extra time on my hands, I thought I would stretch myself. TickTabs is built with Vue, Tailwind CSS, and Firebase.
